LUZ is a well kept secret to retreat to and enjoy the natural beauty and architecture that surrounds it.
LUZ is a unique, exclusive, high end, Culinary Wine Lodge with a bohemian style. It is set within 35 acres of stunning private landscape only a few steps away from the famous beaches of Jose Ignacio.
The charming calm rustic spaces have soft lines and calm colours, taking inspiration from the traditional Moroccan architecture. Simple and sophisticated, our rooms invite you to enjoy the nature from within.
With only eight unique suites surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, pine forests and a lake, our guests are given the true exclusivity and privacy.
Every room has a unique view of the landscape. The spaces transmit an inner calm where we invite our guests to relax and forget the stresses of everyday life.
The project started in 2018, the inspiration between the Architect Diego Montero and the owner and founder of LUZ, Jian Farhadi.
Luz was born from the owner’s vision and desire to give luxury a new definition. An experience where the wellbeing of our guests is at its core and approached in a holistic way. This together with its owners strong vision and passion for architecture, food and wellbeing shows the best of what Uruguay has to offer
