With a design that honors Jose Ignacio, Luz’s vineyard pays tribute to the sun light and the ocean richness.
With three grape varieties: Tannat, Merlot and Tempranillo, Luz develops curated wines which are a faithful reflect of its maritime terroir.
Compañia Uruguaya de Vinos is the chosen bodega to elaborate our wines. With the assessment and consultancy of Michelini Muffato, a recognized family of enologists, we aim to develop wines of excellence.
WINES
- LUZ 2022 – is our house red, a cofermentation of tannat-tempranillo. A wine with a long, smooth and balanced final.
- LUZ Rosé – is our house rose, a bleeding of tempranillo blended with Chardonnay. A bright intense raspberry rose colored wine.

A line of wines with elegant characteristics, passages through first and second use French oak barrels. Each of our wines is a faithful reflection of our terroir, where the sea leaves its clear note.

LUZ DE TIERRA 2022
It is a Tannat / Tempranillo. Co-fermentation in a cement tank with aging in French oak barrels for 1 year and 8 months. The result is a complex wine, deep ruby in color with blue-black notes.
Intense nose with notes of ripe red fruits and toast. Structured in the mouth, with medium astringency and present acidity, good volume and marked tannins. A balanced wine with a velvety finish.
LUZ DE CIELO 2023
It is a soft and elegant Merlot, with moderate acidity and a great fruit character. Minimum intervention vinification respecting what the place offers us. Aged in French oak barrels for 1 year and 8 months.
An intense ruby color wine with bright violet edges. It expresses notes of licorice and wet earth, flavors that match the vegetal aromas. Persistent, with a long and very fresh finish.
LUZ DE MAR 2023
A Tannat Rosé. Pale pink colored with green reflexions, clean and bright. Frech, elegant and complex on nose. With citric and vegetable notes on mouth and a salty end.
